Americare Coverage ("we", "us") is an authorized representative of a healthcare-sharing membership program. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, request an estimate, or talk with us by phone or text message, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Estimate details: the date of birth of the oldest applicant, the type of household (individual, couple or family) and your state of residence.
- Contact details: your first and last name, mobile phone number and email address.
- Your consent choice to receive calls and text messages, with the date it was given.
- Calls and messages: when you speak with our team or our AI-assisted membership specialist, the call may be recorded and transcribed, and we keep a summary and the text messages exchanged.
- Visit information: the page address you arrived on and the advertising campaign details included in it (for example utm parameters, fbclid or gclid), and whether you clicked to enroll. Like any website, our hosting provider also receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, payment details or medical records on this website.
How we use your information
- To calculate and show your estimated monthly share.
- To contact you about your estimate by phone, including automated and AI-assisted calls, and by text message, if you agreed to it.
- To send you the online enrollment link when you ask for it.
- To answer your questions and arrange a callback from a senior advisor.
- To understand which of our advertising campaigns bring visitors, and to improve our website and service.
- To respect your choices, such as a request not to be contacted again, and to meet our legal obligations.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run our service, such as our customer relationship management, phone and messaging platform and our website host. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- The program administrator's pricing service, which receives only the date of birth of the oldest applicant and the household type, without your name or contact details, to calculate your estimate.
- Authorities, when required by law.
You complete the enrollment application yourself, directly on the program's own website. Its privacy policy applies to the information you provide there.
Text messages and phone calls
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. The categories of sharing listed above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
- What you receive: calls and text messages about your estimate and your enrollment, such as the enrollment link and follow-ups.
- Consent: you agree to receive them by checking the consent box on our website. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Frequency: message frequency varies.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them, or tell us during a call that you do not want to be contacted again. Reply HELP for help.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as needed to help you with your estimate and enrollment, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. Requests not to be contacted are kept so that we can keep respecting them.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by writing to the email address below. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights, and we will respond to your request as required by the law that applies to you.
Children
Our website is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
